Serralves Foundation has launched a pilot urban innovation project leaded by Paulo Alves. The project aims to empower creative people in order to generate solutions and innovative businesses that may foster more intelligent, sustainable and inclusive development for citizens of Porto.
As a base for those citizen centered new services, DOT designed and facilitated a workshop were teams
*Take the city as a playground to explore and understanding citizens’s needs and aspirations
*Ideation of new creative solutions to the discoveries of the exploration
*Prototyping of the ideas and test with the agents involved.
The whole process continues with: an exhibition to prototype and test the concepts, a workshop about generation of different business models to make sustainable projects and a pitching preparation workshop and pitching event with investors.
